In advance of the festival's opening on February 6th, Short Talks begins pre-production for it's seventh annual documentary. Since 2008 Daniel Pook, with an alternating crew of supporters, interviews selected filmmakers. In 2010 he started this blog as web destination aimed at people searching for additional information on directors of the Berlinale Shorts section.
Now in 2014 actor Raphael Keric returns as the host of Short Talks. Together with Daniel Pook behind the camera he'll help pushing the project further into the direction of an immersive, atmospheric coverage, which besides singel interview films is also planed out to spawn a long length documentary movie. The project is being produced and internationally released by Burnwho, an independent label founded by Keric and Pook themselves.
Right before good ol' Berlinale magic captures us for another week of diverse, fun and challenging short films from all around the world, let's take a look at a remix of our 2013 interviews.
